Time to stop rising gas prices before its too late

Hammonton News N.J. area -- During his campaign for president, President Obama said he did not have a problem with gas being $4 a gallon. He said he had a problem with gas prices getting to $4 so fast.

Notice President Obama is not saying a word about the steady increase in gas prices. Why? Because it is increasing slowly.

At $2 or even $3, it's not profitable. See T.Bone Pickens... he pulled out of his ideas of alternative energy because gas prices dropped and his plan was going to lose him millions.

You can't rush something as visible as that. Other things can be a "rush and spend" deal, and the general public doesn't see it so easily, until it's too late. Gas prices suffering is like the frog in pot of water.

He is projecting what he thinks could happen if gas prices keep going higher and are sustained long term. He is preying on the reader's fear of higher gas prices, increased taxes and dying in a fiery car crash. That's sensationalism. BTW, $1 per gallon for gas? Gas was $1 per gallon back in 1994. What in this world has not raised in price in the past 15 years? We can't possibly expect to pay the same price for gas as we did 15 years ago. Be realistic.
