HIGuy: that will happen when you and I are gone, but it's a nice outlook for the rest of the planet (not homo not-so-sapiens).

'Bout time. Maybe the powers-that-be have finally figured out the Environmental Lobby's ultimate agenda by now: The complete removal of human beings from this planet and to return it to it's primeval state.

In win for oil, natural-gas industry, court reverses rule protecting polar bear habitat. It doesn't look good for the bears! Big Oil and Big Gas will get their way and push for more land so they can export their pubic derived booty to other countries for additional profit. Big Oil and Big Gas sells fuel and natural gas on the world market for higher prices to other countries. 'Coming out of the closet' Sneeky's lousy, smoke and mirrors, lack of jobs, dog and pony show and in the crapper economy, the jobs are Not here. Sneeky's economy is not improving but continues to hurt the population and the job numbers continue to be down! No Thanks to the Mindless Pinhead Sheep that voted this bozo back in office. The US ‘oil and natural gas resources’ belong to the citizens of this country and are to be used by those same citizens! The price at the pump needs to go down to $2/gallon - *$3, *$3.50/gallon or *$4.00 is Not the new low! More Refineries are Not the answer, Stop exporting fuel is! Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII! - The Day After......

I wouldn't want to be uprooted or killed off because of bear pooping in the woods, reversal....I don't wish to see the polar bear have no homes or healthy woods to poop in!

The polar bear population is already steadily decreasing because of the shrinkage of the polar ice cap.

This isn't hard. Have Fish & Wildlife or USFS personnel to monitor this to make sure the oil companies aren't polluting or wantonly destroying habitats (which the likely aren't - bad for business you know).

If Polar Bears cant learn to adapt to a changing planet, like it has done for millions of years. Then maybe they are not meant to survive. Species have come and gone on this planet for millions of years and we should not be out there trying to play god now and make sure that none of them ever disappear again. This is not how nature works or intended it to work. Just because man is now on the planet, the greenies have in there head for some reason that it would be so bad for a species to go extinct. This happened all the time before man and everything worked fine. It worked so fine it actually brought about the development of man in the world didn't it. Now I'm not saying we should ever purposely kill a species until they become extinct. (Like we have done with the whales) But species that just cant survive because we are here, or that we build a home or just put up a oil well that isnt directly threating it in any way. Well that species needs to learn to adapt to man being on the planet and if it cant then its not strong enough to survive and we should not be playing god trying to protect something so weak in the first place. This is how it works in nature!
