"Plummeting gasoline prices"? They are easing down, but they aren't plummeting anywhere. They'll be headed back up at around Christmas to record highs again next year thanks to Obama.

This is supposed to be good news but "demand is just tanking" equates to bad news for our economy. I'm starting to think some of these stories are just propaganda but if they start selling gas for $1.68 gas like in 2008, I'll be okay with that. lol

Plummeting... I don't think so. Just another word in a lame attempt to sensationalize a slow decline in pump prices. Now when prices increase, why don't they use the word skyrocket or a phrase like exponential hike???

I remember when $3.00 per gallon was outrageous. Now we call it low. Something isn't right.

plummeting prices would be if they suddenly under $2.00 a gallon. Until then this is a feathery down slide....waiting for the next time to skyrocket upward.

If it were $2.50 or as low as $2 that would be a good news story. This is just telling us that gas is no longer ridiculously priced but now it is just over-priced.

Gas prices should truly be closer to $2/gallon instead of $3.40/gallon.
