One of the factors which likely had a significant role in Ohio's budget was was the higher than projected gas tax receipts which was mentioned but wasn't quantified. The higher tax receipts reflect the higher cost of gas in Ohio.

It would be amazing to see DOTs all around the country acting like businesses, you know, like they have be responsible with the funds allocated to them.

It'd be nice if they would finish the projects they currently have underway. As it is, the upgrade project in Toledo has been scaled back because of lack of funding. Oh, that's right, have to take care of the Three "C"s, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus - the heck with the rest of the state.
