If the Obama Administration would tighten the rein on the speculators, might be the EIA weekly reports would mean something. Right now inventories means absolutely nothing.

with refined products inventory up, refineries are slowing down so there is no glut. Anything to keep a bottle-neck (as if Nemo wasn't enough of a nemesis...)

Who cares about crude & gas inventories. They have nothing to with with the price of gas.

Strange, is it not? Oil prices are down, but fuel prices are high. The Koch Brothers must need more money to pay for elections.

More fuel isn't supposed to translate to higher pump prices.

It's cocktail hour. They are starting to make lower emission fuel to meet standards set in individual cities by "people who know". Special and different costs more. All fuel production should be the same.

Doesn't seem to have much of an impact on the prices we pay. Information for investors who might know what to do with it.

Attempting a slow down at the refinery to prevent a glut. While the price of gas continues to creep up.

And yet the price continues to go up at the pump. Supply and demand used to mean something. These reports are meaningless. It is all about the speculators now.
