Welcome to Colorado! Here's hoping your stay is pleasant and as eventful as you had hoped for. The weather and road conditions are continually changing. If you are traveling to the high country, then you may want to visit: http://www.cotrip.org for the latest road conditions and webcams in Colorado. Safe and warm travels, and best to you in 2012 and beyond.

I liked your post about America becoming energy independent. Here is mine: We still need an alternative fuel in the U.S. We need to develop natural gas production, compress it into Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) and then convert all diesel 18 wheelers to run on LNG, cost about $2,500. Then install large high pressure tanks, like big propane tanks, at all Interstate truck stops. Build the Keystone XL pipeline and import shale-oil from our friends in Canada instead of Iran, Venezuela and other of our enemies in OPEC. Make North America an energy exporter: Canada, America and Mexico.

Excellent reply to those that say dril baby drill when all the oil companies do is ship any excess out of the country. Keep up your made fron sense blogs. God Bless!

good ideas. People need to do something, not just bitch about it.
I have done a little. I put up some solar panels. I want to expand it, since I now know how easy it is to do.
I also got a job in 2000 which allows me to work from home every day. I haven't been "to the office" in nearly 5 years. I wish more desk jobers were able to convince the boss to let them do this. Just think of the savings. Less gas, less air pollution, less congestion. Fewer roads needed.

"So does that mean when I want to flee the insanity of the Palin administration, that I need to rent my U-Haul in Canada??" Something like that!
