10-pk LED at $194.50 each x 2 = 20 units total. Notice the 4.9-star review ratings. Here's the Amazon link:

Hey Joe.. that was a fascinating web page about EVs from the 1800s. You've got way too many fluorescent bulbs to switch over to LED. I would replace the fixtures rather than spend a ton on 20 individual tubes. (where are they used, garage, storage?) Great job on the winter heating costs. (methane) Just 2 or my months equaled your $472 although we had an unusually rare frigid winter in the South including many days of single digits highs - unheard of down here. Gotta run.. be well!

Well yard waste is one. Tree trimmings another. You can grind up the smaller stuff and make a slurry with waste paper and press briquettes. You do this in summer and store it for the winter. There are some really interesting designs for smokeless furnaces some of which are somewhat remote from the house and use water to transfer the heat into the house or as preheat for the hot water boiler/ heating system. some of these rely on thermal mass and reside inside of the house. yesterday was only an 18 but today looks better.

I was agreeing with your premise.

No argument here. Have a great weekend.

sounds good we could do the same if I made another addition to the panels. That or more efficient panels. then some heat pumping and I have always wanted some kind of biomass stove. I know it's cave man but it is renewable.

Nice. Sounds like the payoff is right around the corner! I just wish this pad at least had the *option* for PV, or Geo-Therm (my fav:) ~ drill'

Hey Joeski! A change of pace and something that I thought perhaps you and others here might enjoy seeing as we take over: Happy Earth Day as well! While I'm at it and if you get a chance, here's my page on Google+: I'm finding it much easier to let people know via G+ that prices are going to be going up. I can send it out to more of them at once and that saves me time that I wouldn't otherwise have and I can get it sent out to most of you who might just fill up ahead of time. I wrote here on the 14th that it was going to be going up again:
