Avalanches have damaged my cars even with anti-avalanche device from Solar City. I have spoken with them about this and may remove them as it stops an avalanche to a point and then the avalanche is much bigger.

Yes, I have LED bulbs, HE HVAC (installed last year to replace electric heating) now. I like technology if it is proven to give enough benefits.

That was the prices I heard a several years ago. You are right. It will be cheaper by now, but also different by areas. Anyway, I'm not interested in solar system because my house has small daylight hours due to a hill behind. Thanks for your point.

I am not your paid financial advisor. But I will tell you that there are more profitable investments out there that are not as hard on the environment. (When a solar panel is made, what does that factory do with the waste? How much power does it take to build the panel? What is done with a bad panel? Is it 100% recycled?) if you had invested your money in the stock market this past year, you could have made your 20+ %. You just need to know where to look.

Panels covered. Will have to get them going again tomorrow. Any thoughts on clearing snow off solar panels? Do you have this problem? I have a roof rake but at 20 + ft it is hard to control. I have also tried warm water but it is really a problem icing everything except above freezing. thinking of trying to blow the snow off.

Yep we got home about 11pm thurs clear roads til we got off the pike. Had to dig a little to get car into the driveway. Fortunately our neighbor parked his truck in the driveway while we were gone and most of the snow went away with the truck.

Yeah, I saw you were getting close to that Richard Petty position! I was playing in the snow for 37 1/2 hours with one 7 hour break (slept for 3 hours), fun. Glad you stopped I'll bet!

Wow - yes - it's still there. Come 2 think of it, I never did look at the date...couldn't find one. Maybe the GB's remembered that U posted it 2 yrs ago & didn't like 2 C duplicates!! ~drill'

Not news to U, I'm sure, but for those who may have just an interest...oh well. could be an off-shoot for these folks...if they'd think...
