Do it all day and the wind turbine will win all day.. ships that hit bridges and rocks lose everytime and are 100% culpable for damages..

by Joeski1  Dec 12, 2014

If an oil tanker hit a wind turbine, knocked it down and spilled it's load of oil...which would be easier and cheaper to clean up AND cause the least environnmental damage?

Got it; thanks. It does say that biofuels are better in the long run. However, they're far from perfect. The soil is depleted much more quickly, because the organic matter isn't returned to it. Also, corn cropping is a major use of neonicotinoids, the pesticide class that some are now blaming for bee and bird deaths. Nothing is black-and-white, is it... thanks again for the article.

Hi GoGoGoodyear, I don't keep links to articles that I posted on, but if you still have it handy, I'll be happy to take a look. Cheers. :-)

Belated Congratulations on EARNING over 800K, points and your nice orange ride, that's commitment. Most buddies don't reach that mark. Your next car will be a RED convertible. Wishing you the best in everything you do. Lets be cross country buddies. Thanks. Shep

Doesn't make sense, but I see it all over town. One of the worst offenders is the "Shameful Shell" at Olympic & Fairfax, where regular gas is $4.999 now - used to be $5-something. And get this - I spotted them getting a tanker of United Oil once - cheap stuff!!! There are a couple of 76 stations in Beverly Hills that always charge the max for gas - $4.399 regular at Crescent & Santa Monica Blvd. Guess the owners aren't interested in volume sales, but I see suckers in there filling up all the time.

Think the 76 at Oxnard & Hazeltine was owned by AAA Petroleum. They own other 76 stations in the Valley, but the company is on hard times. AAA 76 at Vineland/Vanowen in North Hollywood has closed down! The company appears to be getting what it can and I suspect all the stations will close, be sold or rebranded in the near future. Red Dot on Sherman and Hayvenhurst is turning into a Chevron as I write, and Chevron also took over some low-volume 76 stations around the Valley (Oxnard/Woodman, Laurel Cyn/Strathern).

The best response to my article today. Thank you for taking the time to write such an excellent post. Have a great evening.

GM has the most patents regarding hydrogen fuel cell technology and Honda is close behind. Last summer Honda and GM teamed up, so I can't wait to see what comes out of it. GM's Project Driveway has racked up over 3M miles and hundreds of drivers giving input.
